Single Vision are suitable for distance viewing only - such as driving, watching TV, etc. Depending on your spectacle prescription, these are often not suitable for reading, computer, or device use. If you have a "near add" in your prescription from your optometrist, this is an indicator that you are unlikely to be able to read with Single Vision Distance Lenses.
Multifocal Lenses incorporate both your distance and your near prescription into one lens. Suitable for both driving/TV and near work such as reading books and device use. Multifocals have distance viewing in the top of the lens and gradually shift to your reading prescription, as you look down to the bottom of the lens.

Transitions Drivewear lenses change from a shade of green/yellow, to a copper shade, to a dark reddish-brown colour, depending on the amount of light. They are polarised and work behind car windscreens. Like any other sunglasses, Transitions Drivewear should not be worn at night.
Polarised sunglass lenses, often considered the “gold standard” for sunglasses, provide great protection from reflections from flat surfaces, such as hot roads, water, snow and shiny car bonnets. They help to improve depth and contrast, reduce eyestrain and fatigue, and also improve perception of shapes and colours. Eyesports’ Polarised Lenses are Category 3 lenses, defined as “General purpose sunglasses”. These provide high protection against sun glare and good UV protection; they are not suitable for driving at night or under dull light conditions. However, Polarisation makes it difficult to view LCD screens. These lenses are also not suitable for driving at night or in dull conditions.

ThinTec is a lenticulation process that decreases lens thickness. It is highly recommended for prescriptions +/- 1.50dioptres. Please note that OptiFog coating is not available with ThinTec

Mirror coatings are the colourful and reflective coatings on the outside of the sunglass lenses. Mirror coatings help to reduce glare and reflect infrared light, which can reduce eye fatigue and potentially even reduce the risk of damage to the eyes. Mirror coatings can turn an ordinary pair of sunglasses into a trendy, eye-catching fashion statement. Please note mirror coatings will make scratches on the lens more visible, so keep this in mind if you plan to wear your sunglasses for impact sports or work.
