Private Health Insurance Claims

Eyesports by Otway Optical are a registered health benefits provider, covering all Australian health insurance funds, including the following major private health funds.

All online prescription orders will generate an itemised invoice, which is emailed directly to you once the order has been finalised. This can then be used to lodge a claim with your health fund online, over the phone or in-office.

Please note: For us to be able to issue you with a claimable receipt, the wearer's prescription must have their full name visible.

The rebate amount depends on your health fund and the level of extras cover. If a similar item (i.e. prescription sunglasses from elsewhere) has been claimed within a specified time-period, additional items may not be covered until the following time-period.
